David Pearce Obituary

David George Pearce, 87, of Boiling Springs, PA passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019 in the UPMC Pinnacle Carlisle. He was born April 7, 1931 in Baltimore, MD to the late Robert Allen and Rosalind (Knott) Pearce.

David worked as a carpenter foreman for McCoy Brothers, operated a beverage cart at Carlisle Productions and was an United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of the Harrisburg Pigeon Club and enjoyed racing pigeons. David loved riding motorcycle, roller skating and sprint car racing, especially helping in the pits and owning his own car.

Surviving is his loving wife, Beatrice Ann Pearce of Boiling Springs; siblings, Jean Shay of Bennington, VT, Donna Marie Publis of Shaftsbury, VT, and Patricia Ann Garrish of Annapolis, MD. David was preceded in death by his brother, Robert A. Pearce Jr.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family and burial will be in the Westminster Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Rd., Wormleysburg, PA 17043. Arrangements are being handled by the Hollinger Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Mt.
