Demetrios Mallios Obituary

Born Oct. 20, 1952, in Carlisle, he was the son of Vasiliki (Viki) Zarkadas Mallios of Carlisle and the late John N. Mallios.

Mr. Mallios graduated from Carlisle High School in 1971 and Western Maryland College of Westminster, Md., in 1975. He was a partner in the Deer Lodge Restaurant, Mt. Holly Springs, with his two brothers.

He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Camp Hill, where he was very active in many aspects of the church including being a Sunday school teacher. He was also a member of the Syllogos Neohoriton.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 18 years, Jane (Polixeni) Brellos Mallios; a daughter, Vasiliki D. Mallios; two brothers, Nickolas J. Mallios of Dillsburg and Constantinos J. Mallios of Mt. Holly Springs.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill, with the Rev. Costas P. Keares officiating. Burial will be in the Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday in the church.

Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, Carlisle, is in charge of the arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1000 Yverdon Drive, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
