Doris Jean Whitzel
CARLISLE, PA - Doris Jean Whitzel, 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024. A funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m., on Friday, July 26, 2024, in the Ewing Brothers Funeral Home, 630 S. Hanover St., Carlisle with Rev. Richard Reese officiating. The burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery in Shippensburg. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6:00 p.m., to 8:00 p.m., at the funeral home and on Friday from 10:00 a.m., until the time of service. Visit www.EwingBrothers.com for a complete obituary.

Bob and family. We were sad to learn of Doris's passing. She was a very special lady and though we had not seen her recently, she will be missed and you and she are in our prayers. God Bless Doris, rest in peace. Unfortunately, we are in Boston with our daughter who had surgery yesterday.
