Dorothy Elizabeth Thumma
March 11, 1927 - October 20, 2023
CARLISLE - Dorothy Elizabeth Thumma went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, October 20, 2023.
Born on March 11, 1927, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Lester and Mary Kutz.
Preceded in death by her husband E. Harold Thumma, infant daughter Linda S. Thumma, brother Nelson Kutz, and sisters Vivian Harman and Hazel Gettle.
Survived by sister Esther Leinaweaver, brothers Richard and Donald Kutz, daughters Patricia (Linwood) Clippinger, Mary (Chris) Cohick, Carol (Daniel) Graham, and Debra (Jerry) Kelley, 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was an active member of South Fairview First Church of God. Dorothy enjoyed church activities, family, and crocheting. A viewing will be held Thursday October 26, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM in South Fairview First Church of God.
A funeral service will be held in the church at 11 AM Friday October 27th with Pastor Kevin Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Centerville Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Fairview First Church of God 1212 Centerville Road Newville, PA 17241.
