Francis R. "Bucky" Stoner, 70, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, at the Harrisburg Hospital.
He was born on July 25, 1937, in Mount Holly Springs, to the late Ralph C. and Christine A. Shank Stoner.
Bucky was a U.S. Air Force veteran, having served during the Korean conflict. He was also a truck driver for many companies, to include Daily Express and Roadway. He was an avid reader, enjoyed spending time with his loving family and taking his dog, " Wiz" everywhere he went. He and his wife, Teresa, have also stepped foot in all 50 states through their travels.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa A. Waples Stoner; his two daughters, Natalie A. (and husband, Gary) Day of Gardners and Rita (and husband, William) McAlister of Carlisle; two stepsons, Donald J. (and wife, Jen) McKee of Mechanicsburg and Douglas W. (and wife, Leslie) McKee of Columbus, Ohio; four grandchildren, Nathan, Angie, Adrian and Chrissy; two step-grandsons, Bryce and Treyton; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Makayla and Maria; and three brothers, Harry and Ronald Stoner, both of Mt. Holly Springs and William Stoner of Huntsdale.
Memorial services will be private.
