Isabel C. Kilmore, 94, of Mechanicsburg, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, August 16, 2015, at Messiah Village.
She was born December 4, 1920, in Mechanicsburg, the daughter of the late James D. and Iva Mary (Rhoads) Coble.
Isabel was a graduate of Mechanicsburg High School, class of 1938 and retired from Laurel Pipeline Company. She was a life long member of Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, Mechanicsburg. Isabel loved her life at Messiah Village and her many friends there.
Isabel is survived by two step-children, Nancy Schwartz and her husband Wayne of Boiling Springs, Dr. V. Eugene Kilmore, Jr. and his wife Holly of Dillsburg; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Lt. David L. Kistler and Vance E. Kilmore, Sr.; one sister, Gladys Dean; and brothers, Ross, Richard, and Donald Coble.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 29, 2015, at 10:30 am in the Messiah Village Brethren in Christ Church, 100 Mt. Allen Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA, with the Reverend Dr. Charles Hosteter, officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30-10:30 am at the church. Burial will be held in the Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Messiah Village Endowment Fund, 100 Mt. Allen Dr., Mechanicsburg, PA 17055 or the Trindle Spring Lutheran Church, 14 State Rd., Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
