Lia M. Ware, 65, of Dillsburg, passed away Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008, at Holy Spirit Hospital in Camp Hill.
Born Dec. 31, 1942, in Tartu, Estonia, a daughter of the late Karl and Hanna (Lange) Torro, Lia was a former employee of the Book of the Month Club, Mechanicsburg.
Lia is survived by her husband, Bennie W. Ware; her daughter, Alva Ware-Bevacqui of Fayston, Vt.; two brothers, Ivalo Randalu and Lembit Torro, both of Estonia; and two sisters, Virve Kangro of New York City and Tiio McCurty of Estonia. She also leaves behind two grandchildren, Daniel Bevacqui and Sarah Bevacqui; a niece, a nephew and many grandnieces.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association of Central PA, 3001 Old Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
