Gray, Georgia- Matthew Clifford "Matt" Wilson, Jr., 21, of Oakview Circle, died Thursday, June 27, 2013, at his residence. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 8:00pm, Saturday, at Greenwood Baptist Church in Jones County. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, June 30, 2013, in the sanctuary of Greenwood Baptist Church with interment at Cedar Ridge Cemetery in Gray. Rev. Joe Ferguson will officiate.
Matt was born December 19, 1991, in Macon and had lived in Jones County his whole life. He was a faithful member of Greenwood Baptist Church, had worked as a trophy builder for Taylor Trophy Company in Macon and was attending Georgia Military College in Milledgeville.
Matt is survived by his father and step-mother: Matt and Jessica Wilson, Sr., mother: Jacquelyn Potts; brothers: Jamie Potts, Hunter Peterman and Jeremy Swanson; sisters: Zoey Wilson and Alyssa Wilson; and by his grandparents: Tommy and Jill Boyer, Danny Wilson and Diane Hudson.

I HAVE SO MANY MEMORIES OF YOU , IT IS HARD TO EVEN SINGLE OUT ONE.
I can only tell you that you are so missed. I wonder what you would be doing now and what your life would be like. I know you would be taking care of your family if you had one. You told me that when you were deciding what you wanted to do after high school. You would be mentoring your brothers and sisters and all your nephews and nieces, and maybe children of your own. So many of your friends are married with children. Never the less, you have the greatest place to be but we all miss you terribly. We will see you soon!!! I love you so much.

Not a single day goes by that we don't think of you. You are talked about among ourselves and remembered all the time. We miss you so much and there are holes in our hearts but Thank God for your eternal life. I love you so much.

JJ, Matt,Jessica & Wilson family, I Am truly heart broken to know that one of Gods Previous Angels has Passed..thee are no words To describe how I'm feeling at this time.. I've loved Matthew since he was just a few months old like he was my own. I wish I could say anything to make you all feel better but only God can.. I know he's samiling upon all of you and in Heaven so happy and free. My mama is dancing around with Matthew, I know she is.. I don't know what it feels like to lose a son, although I do know what it's like to lose a grandson. Today

Matthew was such an inspiration to everyone & touched the lives of people never had a chance to cross his awesome path.
