Mary Kammerer
Mary McGowan Kammerer, 85 years, died Thursday August 4, 2016 at Chapel Pointe in Carlisle. She was born in Newville June 2 1931, daughter of the late Charles and Mary Hosler McGowan.
Mrs. Kammerer was a retired nurse working in the Carlisle Hospital and Home Care.
She was married to the late Fred D. Kammerer and was a member of Big Spring Presbyterian Church and a volunteer at Green Ridge Village, Newville. She is survived by 2 daughters: Christine Mutterspaugh of Mechanicsburg, Diane (Thomas) Seibert of Carlisle, 3 sons David (Elizabeth) Kammerer of Carlisle, Michael (Nancy) Kammerer of Downingtown and Eric (Diana) Kammerer of Downingtown, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grand children, and a sister Janet Lay of Boiling Springs.
Memorial service will be held Saturday August 13 at 11:00 am at the Big Spring Presbyterian Church, Newville, PA, friends will be received from 10:00 am till service time at the church.
