Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

All those Eric left behind are in my thoughts and prayers, he will be missed.

It was this past April when I met you. The thing I remember most was how friendly and easy going you were. It's sad how we will never meet up again. You will be missed.

Our prayers are with Eric's family as they morn his untimely loss. Eric was a dear friend that I hadn't seen often since moving to Albuquerque but he always gave a welcome reception on my occasional visits. He was a lot of fun to be around and brought countless laughs to those with the privilege of knowing him. The world was a better place with him in it. We'll miss him. May the arms of the Lord embrace him for eternity and his memory stay alive in all he touched.

To Mrs. Brewer our condolences on the loss of your son. Out of all the ones that grew up with us from school till now Eric is the only one that I will remember out of the group that grew up and matured. Eric did not waste the time that he had. He did his best to encourage those that he knew that needed help even though he knew they would not listen but out of friendship he always tried. Out of the group we grew up with Eric is the only one I will always call a friend and he will be missed. I will remember what he was and who he grew up to become, a friend.
