William Brummett Obituary

William (Bill) Brummett, (80) was born April 13, 1936 in Pueblo, Colorado to George and Myra Brummett. Bill was married to Karolyn (Parker) Langham on April 11, 1968 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Bill served in the Marines upon graduating from High School. He worked at The Broadmoor Hotel (Data Processing) for 10 years, construction and owner/operator of convenience grocery stores for many years retiring in 1996. Bill was a Life Member of Carlsbad Elks 1558. He was a big fan of the Denver Broncos. Hunting, fishing and rock hunting were his favorite pastimes and loved to travel, see and visit new places. Preceding Bill in death were his parents, George Earl Brummett and Myra Blanche Bennett, eight brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 48 years, Karolyn Brummett; son, Greg (Sid) Brummett of Pueblo, Colorado; son, Bob (Christina) Langham of The Colony, Texas; daughter, Brenda (Rocco) Meconi of Florence, Colorado; and daughter, Tess Langham, DVM of Gallup, N.M.; 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. Per Bill's wishes he chose to have no services. Obituary was lovingly written by Bill's family.
