Woodrow Dillard Obituary

Woodrow Dillard, "Woody" passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025. A father, husband, brother, friend, and man of quiet strength, Woodrow lived a life marked by laughter, hard work, and unselfishness. He was known for his love of family, and his steady presence, always. He will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his daughter Chelsea, his son Antwon, and his wife Connie, who will always love, cherish, and adore him. His strength, warmth, and support enriched their lives. Woodrow is also survived by his sister, Nancy Porter (Waddell Sr.); his brothers, Waverly Dillard (Janice), and Michael Dillard (Joyce); his brother-in-law, Darnell Branch (Deirdre), Gordon Branch (Kelly), Timothy Anderson, Jason Anderson, and Lorenzo Anderson; as well as his sister-in-law, Francine Anderson and Scherry Ross. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will remember him with deep affection and love. He was predeceased by his mother, Eartha Dillard Robinson, and his step-father, Noah J. Robinson, and his brother Alfonso S. Dillard. Throughout his life, Woodrow found purpose in love of family, music, movies, and work. The memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Hill and Wood Funeral Service, 201 North 1st Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902.
