Carol Yeager

Born: Feb. 8, 1923; in Waterman, IL

Died: May 3, 2015; in DeKalb, IL

Carol Yeager, age 92, died May 3, 2015, in Kishwaukee Community Hospital in DeKalb.

Carol was born February 8, 1923, to Melvin and Ada (Drury) Larson, in Waterman. She married Robert Yeager of Sycamore, on September 23, 1942.

Carol grew up in rural DeKalb and graduated from DeKalb High School in 1940. Carol worked as an accountant both in Illinois and in Wisconsin before moving back to DeKalb to be near family.

Survivors include two sisters, Velma Chamberlain of DeKalb, June Wagley of Sycamore; and two brothers, Jim Larson of Allegan, MI and Queen Creek, AZ and Jerry Larson of Allegan, MI and Queen Creek, AZ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was predeceased by her parents; two brothers, George, who died in infancy and Vernon Dietzman of Englewood, FL; and one sister, Bernice Coan of Lakeland, FL.

A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery, at a later date. Cremation is by Finch Crematory.
