Diane Jean Koeritz, age 61, of Leland, IL, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. She was born on February 4, 1954, in Cook County, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Audrey (Olsen) Gallagher.

Diane was united in marriage on May 22, 1992, to James Koeritz and they spent the next 23 happy years of their lives together. She was very fond of her grandchildren and her family. Diane was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, James Koeritz of Leland, IL; her two children, Gary Bruce (Kristian) Kramer of South Elgin, IL and Mandy Marie Kramer of Leland, IL; her four grandsons; two brothers, Joseph (Cheryl) Gallagher and Timothy (Judy) Gallagher; two sisters, Jeanette Babush, Patricia (Earl) Kirchner, and Peggy (Ted) Taylor; several nieces and nephews, her father-in-law, Larry Streadwich of Sandwich, IL; as well as her large extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Audrey Gallagher; a sister, Carol Gallagher; a brother, Mike Gallagher; her mother-in-law, Sandra Streadwich; and her cousin, Robert Gallagher.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 5, 2015, at the Nelson Funeral Home & Crematory, 1275 S. Countyline Rd., Sandwich, IL with Deacon Dale Metcalfe, officiating. Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until the Hour of Service on Monday, October 5, 2015, at the Nelson Funeral Home in Sandwich, IL.
