Ioanna Burtzos, nee Mantgares, of Naperville, age 84.
Beloved wife of the late Michael; loving mother of Fotios (Joan), Eleni (the late Pete) and Amelia (LeRoy) Lozano; proud grandmother of Dr. Michaelia (James), Michael, Dr. Alexander (Jessica), Vasiliki, Benjamin, SamanthaLee (Hari), Maxx, Mario, ZoeRae and Gabriella; the loves of her life great-grandchildren, Dimitri and Kosta; dear sister of Deonicia (the late Dean) Plagakis and the late Irene Mantgares; proud aunt and Godmother of many.
Family and friends will be received at the Conboy-Westchester Funeral Home, 10501 W. Cermak Rd., Westchester, IL on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. All to meet Friday at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 S. Wolf Rd., Westchester, IL for 10:00 a.m. Funeral Service. Internment Private at Fairview Park Cemetery, DeKalb, IL.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church or St. George Greek Orthodox Church in DeKalb, IL

Ioanna & Mike were my next-door neighbors for ten years. Ioanna always shared Greek food with me & brought over an Easter egg every year. She adored her family. I am so happy I was able to have lunch with her one last time in the spring. My deepest condolences to all the family.
She was a wonderful friend.

Ioanna and I and many others went from Kindergarten through High School graduation together.
I remember her well, Also her sister Irene and another sister whose name escapes me at the moment.
She loved athletics.
I am saddened to loose yet another classmate.
