J. FREED Obituary

J. Frank Freed, 74, of Sycamore, Ill., died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, DeKalb.
Born Sept. 29, 1937, in Kiowa, Colo., the son of Frank L. and Lessie A. (Davenport) Freed, he married Maxine E. Green on Jan. 16, 1965, in Rochelle.
Frank was a graduate of University of LaVerne in California and was employed for 26 years by Turner Brass, which later became Cooper Industries. He was active at Stage Coach Theatre and Egyptian Theatre, both in DeKalb. He loved spending time with his family, and playing golf. Frank was an avid history buff.
He is survived by his wife, Maxine; son, John (Donna) Freed of Sycamore; grandchildren, Steven (Jennifer) Schroeder and Katrina (Jason) Roitburd; five great-grandchildren, Griffin, Austin and Gwendolyn Schroeder, and Christian and Alina Roitburd; brother, John Loren (Nat) Freed of Sterling; sister, Eunice Hartman of Glenwood, Iowa; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Amanda Kessler of Fennville, Mich.
There will be no services or visitation. Cremation is by Anderson Funeral Home Crematory.

Maxinne, I am so sorry to hear of Frank's passing. I was on vacation last week and just returned - You both had such wonderful plans for the new home on Scenic - did you get moved in???????????? Please accept my most sincere condolences - my prayers are with you Peggy Ireton
