I regret that I'm just finding out about this now, less than 24 hours after the funeral. I definitely would've gone. Joe was a good man and a good Christian. I really liked him and I'll miss him. Byron my heart goes out to you and your family.

Millie, our sincerest sympathy on Joe's passing. I certainly enjoyed our chats.
His wisdom and conversations were greatly appreciated. And, I feel blessed for knowing him. His cheery attitude and his belief in the Lord were also an inspiration.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Wise over the course of 20 years from various businesses in the Dekalb area....since I was 18 and working at his dry cleaner. Everyone once in awhile we would just chat about life and love and faith. I am sorry to see he's passed, however I take comfort knowing that he's at rest. Goodbye Joe, you were truly one of a kind
Deepest condolences going out to the family and friends

Millie, I was so shocked to hear about Joe! While I haven't seen you guys in some time, I will always remember him! He always had a joke to tell and loved making others laugh! Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family. Myra from Merry Maids

Oh Joe. There are no words, but I know in your faith-you are All Good right now. We always had such fun conversations, laughs, and we will always appreciate you. You gave us a chance and we will forever be grateful. Your heart is so big, your eyes mischievous but in a way where you always seemed to make the most of things. Even when you weren't feeling well, you would take the time to chat, find something to be thankful for, and genuinely care about others and just enjoy the moment. Thanks for being a great man-We will never forget you. XOXO
