JUANITA HERNANDEZ Obituary
Born in Texas, the daughter of Eduardo and Guadalupe Prado, she married Sixto L. Hernandez Sr. in 1941 in Texas.
Juanita attended the Church of St. Mary in Sycamore. She was a loving mother and housewife.
She is survived by her children, Minerva H. (Pedro) Cano of Texas, Vicenta H. (Gilbert) Nieto of Illinois, Eloisa H. (Neal) Bryant of Texas, Noelia H. Mata of Illinois, Diana H. (Robert) Snodgrass of Florida, Melissa H. (Leon) Jordon of Illinois, Sixto (Dona) Hernandez Jr., Eddie (Shirley) Hernandez, Eloy (Connie) Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez and Lorenzo (Vicky) Hernandez all of Illinois; 34 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Julia de Leon of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband; one son, Robert P. Hernandez; and one sister, Maria P. Bunch.
Her funeral Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at the Church of St. Mary in Sycamore, with Fr. Frank J. Timar, M.S.C. officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, at the local family-owned and -operated Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave., Sycamore, IL 60178. For information, go to www.ButalaFuneralHomes.com or call 815-895-2833.

So guma yesturday we finally put you to rest. I cant explain how much I will miss you. You're at peace no guma. Going to grandmas house now just wont be the same. As a family we are all pullling together and helping one another over come the sadness and pain we are feeling. I still remember 2 years ago when i went to go visit you on Valentines Day, you told me by going to a movie theater I was going to get pregnat haha. Well I proved you wrong<3 Thank you for going to my Quince it meant alot to me. Things will not be the same. Thank you for all the memories and teaching me and Alex how to make eggs. I love you with all of my heart and I'll bbe missing you<3

Thank you for always being there for us! Grandma, thank you for being a wonderful women and a loving grandma. I still remember when I turned 16 and I came over to show you my new car. You would only look from the window because you thought I would take you for a ride! You were so cute! Thank you for always letting all of us kids run around your house and taking care of us!! Grandma you will never be forgotten,I hold so many memories of you and grandpa caring for me when I was a little rascal. I'm glad I got to spend time with you this last year while I was off of work. I will allways remember she was sooo good to me when I was a child. She allways treated me Like I was one of her own childeren. She was like my other mom sitting in her kichen watching her cook and her wanting to feed me. She was a wonderful lady. She will allways hold a big part of my heart.
