My sincerest condolences to Margarets family and friends. She was my EMT instructor several years ago, and it was partially due to her enthusiasm and love for helping others I stayed in EMS. I've been doing it now for over a decade, and looking back, I can say I've never had an instructor quite like her. She loved helping those in need and was one of a kind in passing on her knowledge and skills. Her loss will be felt at so many levels. I'm so sorry that she is gone from us.

Margaret was one of four EMS instructors who set me on a pathway within emergency medicine. Which led me to re-enlisting after 9/11. Which led to me completing 20 years of military service this year. Margaret had a wickedly delightful sense of humor; a smile that would light up the room and a love for family and life that was tangible. Teacher, friend, warrior. My condolences to all that knew her.
