Barbara Snapp Obituary

Barbara M. Snapp, Age 88, of Momence, IL, died on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at the Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL.

She was born on February 23, 1937, in Pensacola, FL, the daughter of Dewey and Ruth Hall Myers.

She married Leon W. Snapp on May 17, 1958, in Pensacola, FL. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2018.

She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law; Chris Snapp of Momence, IL, Steve and Kelly Snapp of Clifton, IL, Jerry and Sherlyn Snapp of Momence, IL, and Jeff and Kendra Snapp of Momence, IL. Her three sisters; Ann Busbee of Milton, FL, Sue Sullivan of Cantonment, FL, and Dorothy (Rufus) Hammac of Pensacola, FL. Her brother; Ken Myers of Pensacola, FL. Barbara is also survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother; Dewey Myers.

Barbara worked as an executive secretary for the Brothers at the Good Sheperd Manor in Momence, IL. She was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Momence, IL. She enjoyed reading and cooking.

Visitation will be held from 10:00AM-11:00AM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Momence, IL.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the St. Patrick Catholic Church in Momence, IL. Rev. Peter Jankowski will officiate.

Interment will be at the Mt. Airy Cemetery in Momence, IL.

Memorials may be made to Uplifted Care of Kankakee or the Alzheimer's Association.
