Died: December 12, 2025
Janet Lou (Anderson) Jennings of Bourbonnais, Illinois passed away peacefully on the morning of December 12th, 2025. Born March 16th, 1941 to James (Sully) Anderson and Julia (Judy) Devore, Janet was always surrounded by the love of her family. She is survived by her 2 children, Shannon Rieck and Bruce (Zulma) Jennings; her 5 grandchildren, David Rieck, Jennifer Rieck, Toni Sutton, Julia Jennings, and Jared Jennings; and her one great-grandchild, Brayden Spencer.
Janet was an elementary school teacher at Bradley schools. She was very committed to the Christian church and her compassion and love were clear to those around. She was a foster mother to many children and an animal lover. She leaves behind her beloved dog, Paris. Being an only child, her cousins and dear friends were an important part of her life.
Although she is gone, Janet will live in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace.
