Jodi Anne (nee Ward) Wyatt, 68, of Martinton, died on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee, Illinois.
Jodi was born on September 22, 1957, in Manteno, Illinois, to John and Pauline (née Gallois) Ward. She made Manteno her home for most of her life before moving to Martinton following her marriage to Charles "Chuck" Wyatt. Jodi and Chuck were married on October 15, 2015, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Bradley, Illinois.
Jodi worked as a forklift driver for ITW Deltar until her retirement. Her greatest joys were her family, her faith, and the time she and Chuck spent at their winter home in Harlingen, Texas. She cherished being a "Winter Texan," especially the time shared with her cousins, Brian and Debbie Magruder.
A devoted Catholic who never missed Mass, Jodi attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Beaverville. Caring for others was her life's calling. She lovingly raised her son, Jason, and served as a caregiver for her parents, her aunts, and her husband. Jodi lived out her faith through her compassion and helping those in need.
Jodi is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and brother, David.
Surviving are her son, Jason (Lucinda) Hurt, granddaughter-Leah Hurt, stepson-Kelly (Georgette) Wyatt, step grandchildren-Brittany (Caleb Swartzentruber) Wyatt and Clayton Wyatt, brothers-Steven (Cindy) Ward, Bruce (Cindy) Ward, sister- Elizabeth (Franklin) Wilson and many nieces, nephews and cousins with whom she was close.
Cremation arrangements are being made by Clancy-Gernon in Manteno. Visitation will be held on December 20, 2025 at St. Mary's Church in Beaverville at 9am followed by a funeral mass at 10am. Burial will be at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Manteno following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to support children with limb loss at Camp No Limits or to St. Jude's Research Hospital.

Even though your not physically here you will always be in my heart . I miss you like crazy and i will never forget all the good times we had growing up. You were alwsys there for me whenever i needed you and now you will be with mom so i have two special guardian angels watching over me i love you sis and u will alwsys be missed.Just wish i could of told you goodbye and that i loved you one more time.This aint goodbye this is see you later..
