Died: December 24, 2025
Martin C. Zavala, 63, of Kankakee, IL, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at St. Mary's Hospital.
Martin C. Zavala was born March 13, 1962 in Casacuaran, Mexico to Jose Zavala Camargo and Elena Cintora Gomez.
Martin was of the Catholic faith and attended high school in Elgin, IL. He was employed by Van Drunen Farms in Momence, IL.
Martin was united in marriage to Marycruz Pizano and their union was blessed with four children.
He enjoyed gardening, and loved to relax in his backyard among nature.
He leaves to cherish his memory, three sons, Christofer (Neftali) Zavala of Rosemont, IL, Ixael Zavala and Bruno Zavala, both of Kankakee, IL; two daughters, Roselin Zavala and Cintya Zavala, both of Kankakee, IL; sisters, Maria de la Luz and Norma Zavala, both of Kankakee, IL, Mariaellena Zavala of Louisiana and Rocio Zavala of Indiana, and three grandchildren, Sydney Price, Rashad Price and Ryan Clark.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Lax Mortuary. Cremation rites will be accorded. Arrangements by Lax Mortuary, Kankakee.
