Rodney D. Witte, age 79, of St. Anne passed away Monday, November 3, 2025 at his home.
He was born March 13, 1946 in Kankakee, and raised in Papineau, the son of Ivan & Ethel Sparenberg Witte.
Rodney worked at Bradley Roper for 21 years. He retired from P & D Antenna.
Rodney loved fishing, hunting, riding his 4-wheeler, playing pool, and deer shed hunting. He was a member of SACHS School Board from 1975-1987. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan.
Rodney was of the Christian faith.
Surviving are his special friend and partner of 47 years, Joann Pitts of St. Anne; two daughters, Lisa (Brett) Stalnecker of St. Anne and Lana (Rick) Brown of Texas; three grandchildren, Austin (Natasha) Brown of Texas, Cassidy (Aria) Stalnecker of St. Anne, and Carlie Stalnecker of Indiana; four great-grandchildren, Asher, Raven, Wilder, and Juniper; and several nieces.
Rodney is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard Witte and Randy Witte; and one nephew, Travis Witte.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the 12:00 Noon funeral service on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Clancy-Gernon-Houk Funeral Home in St. Anne. Rev. Mike Seed will officiate the ceremony.
Interment will follow at St. Anne Township Cemetery in St. Anne Township.
