Tamara Lynn "Tammy" Foster (Swesey), age 61, of Bradley passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 at her home. She was born January 17, 1964 in Sacramento, CA, the daughter of Benjamin Howard & Linda Joanna (Fries) Swesey.
Tammy was a former cable technician with Xfinity. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, rescuing cats, shopping, and computers. Most of all, Tammy loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are one son, James (Kaitlyn) Bruggman of Orland Park; one daughter, Reina Bruggman (Larry Frantz) of Bradley; three sisters, Shauna Swesey (Ed Kenney) of California, Stacey (Marty) Thompson of California, and Sara McDermott of California; two brothers, Greg Beck of California, and Jeff Beck of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Serena Martinez, Alayna Martinez, and Cruz Martinez; special friend, Terry Foster; and thirteen nieces and nephews, whom she dearly loved. Tammy is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kevin Swesey and Joe Swesey; one daughter, Kristy; and one granddaughter, Alayna.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial visitation will be held from 12 Noon until the time of the 2 p.m. memorial service on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Schreffler Funeral Home in Kankakee.
Memorials may be made to the family wishes.
