I will always remember Cathy for her energy, her admiration of genuine people and most of all, for the tremendous pride, joy and love she had for her daughter. Michaela is the amazing person she is today thanks so much to Cathy. I am a very lucky best friend to have her in my life.

Mikie and Mike,
I am so sorry for the pain you are enduring right now. I know too well how it feels. I bet Cathy is up there with my Dad having a great time. Keep her memory alive and she will always be with you. I wish I could have been there for you through all of this but I am just too far away. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. I will miss Cathy very much.

I love you both,
Margaret Stack, Pablito and Da Boys!

I will love you forever and will never forget the memories we shared growing up and old together.

Like all of the barbecues at your house and Uncle Charlie's, eating Wahoo bars, smoking (and buying tamales to eat afterwards so it would hide the smell of the tobacco and we could hopefully fool your mom), talking about sex, the Beatles, and meeting up with boys.

And of course there were all of the sleep-overs at your house, staying up late at night and telling scarey stories!

You were here with me for my wedding, and I watched you run the Houston marathon. I am sorry that I won't be able to share the rest of my life with you. You were my best friend and I will miss you forever.

I know you are in a much better place. Say Hi to your dad and mine and my sister, and make sure you are waiting for me when it's my time.

With love from your cousin, Mary Claire

Dear Mikie and Michael and family,

Wow don't know where to begin, but I'll leave some memories I have about Cathy:

Energetic: Always running, riding her exercise bike....she tired me out watching her. Marathons in every state. Cathy and Big Pete doing a 10K together, of course she beat him.

Love: Mikie and Mike..wow did she say good things about the two of you.

Mikie, clean your room and quit eating all that candy she'd say.....or was that Michael!

Mike, you know what she's saying to you and I don't have to repeat it cause you'll say I know, I know. All for the love of Michael.

She loved her sisters and brother and of course her mother so much. Dr. Smith too.

Concern: Concern for family and friends and always there to listen or pass on a good word.

Whipple: The house on Whipple. What parties we had. She always had to eat the frosting off the donuts or cake.

Anyway....there's lots more but I think you have the jest.

Cathy will always be there for you and her love will never end. She loved you very much.

Glad to have been a friend,

With all our love,
Vickie and Peter Panczuk

To Michael and family,

I am so sorry about your loss. The Bible provides us with a marvelous hope. At Isaiah 25:8 it says that God will “swallow up death forever”, thus removing the tears of mourning from all. As a result, there will a resurrection that will take place right here on earth, providing us with the opportunity to see our cherished loved ones we have lost again. The Bible promises that mankind will be able to live forever on a paradise earth in perfect conditions. What a joy it will be when that time arrives and the dead are reunited with their loved ones!
