OWALSKI Frank C. Kowalski age 75 lifelong of South Chicago. Beloved husband of the late Elizabeth (nee DeCecco) for 28 years. Loving father of Michael F. (Christina) Kowalski. Devoted grandfather of Anthony Kowalski, Matthew Kowalski & Dominic Kowalski. Dear brother of late Casimir (late Jean) Kowalski & late Chester (Dorothy) Kowalski. Longtime friend of the late George (Harriet) Grundhart & John "Bud" Kowalczyk Fond uncle of many nieces & nephews. U.S. Army Korean War Veteran. Retired employee of U.S. Steel South Works, Union Local #65 with 37 years of service. Longtime member & Board Member of the Southeast Sportsman's Club. Frank was an avid fisherman & outdoorsman. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, & familyman who will be missed by all who knew him. Visitation Tuesday 2-9 p.m. Funeral services Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 9:15 a.m. from the Elmwood Chapel 11200 S. Ewing Ave. Chicago to St. Bronislava Church. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family appreciated. 773-731-2749.
