George T. Chicoine (age 89) WWII Navy Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Betty Jean nee: Keith. Loving father of Jenny (Carmen) Florio, Sharon (Dennis) Zima, Dawn (Steve) Hoffman, George II (Linda), Doug (Betty), Jeff (Kath), Scott (Kim), Kevin, Keith Chicoine and the late Peggy Bryant. Proud grandfather of 20, great-grandfather of 12, great-great grandfather of 1. Cherished brother of Robert (Diane) Chicoine, preceded by Charles, John, Richard and Marge. Uncle to many and friend to all. Proud member of VFW Post 450. Visitation: 3pm-8pm on Thursday December 10, 2015 at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home & Cemetery 11333 S. I have enjoyed Mr Chicone's annual Christmas cards. He and his wife Betty were kind to me when I was a neighbor girl in the 1950's and early '60's. May God comfort the family.
