Helen "Sis" Dolan

Dolan, Helen "Sis" (nee Marek) Age 87, of Harvey, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. Helen was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and mother-in-law. She enjoyed life, laughter with family and friends, was dedicated to her Catholic Faith and was an avid Cubs fan. Beloved wife of 22 years to late Eugene L. Dolan; loving mother of Nancy (Bruce) Martin, Gene (Sandy) Dolan, Linda (Don) Rechenmacher, Ann Dolan; cherished grandmother of Alex (Amy), Rick, Diana, Joe, Shaun, Amanda; dearest great-grandmother of Maggie; loving daughter of late Jan and Anna Marek; fond sister of Rose, late John, late Joe, late Ann, late Pauline, late Louis, late Mary, late Carolyn and late Bernice; caring aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 28, 2014 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Olen Mortuary of Harvey, 15700 S. Emerald Ave., Harvey, IL 60426 (708-331-0654) and on Monday, December 29, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Prayers from Chapel at 10:00 a.m. for 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church of Harvey with Rev. Edward Romanski officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Adventist St. Thomas Hospice, P.O Box 130, Hinsdale, IL 60522-0130 or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O Box 2151, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101-2151. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Helen will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
