Lillian, I will miss seeing Jim and talking to you at Pilgrim. You are a wonderful woman and I'm sorry for your loss. If you have a chance stop in on July 27th, we will all be on the patio to ring in Marie's 99th year between 2-4pm but drop in anytime you would like. We will miss you at PM and I hope to see you on the 27th. Mary from Aizona....

I have had the pleasure of helping care for Jim at Pilgrim Manor for the past several years. In this time I got to know Jim,his family and most important,Lillian.I think of you as part of my family.I will miss Jim and seeing Lillian everyday. How lucky to have shared 66 years of marriage. The love the two of you shared was so obvious.I will miss seeing Lillian take Jim in his wheelchair for his daily ride around the facility, seeing the two of them sitting outside when the weather was nice and sunny(yes,I would watch and smile) and the routine we had in giving Jim his medicine.I will remember Jim lying in bed when Lillian would come for her daily afternoon visits(except Wednesday when she came in the morning for Catholic Mass)and he would be eating the treats she bought with the biggest smile on his face.
I loved the times he would go out for special occassions and return after having a few beers. There are so many other things I could say.He will always be rememberred in my heart. They say nurses shouldn't become too involved with their residents, too late! That happened years ago.I love you Lillian,I know that this is a sad time for you.I know we will keep in touch.. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Joanne Nowak
