I didn't know Jeff as well as many but I knew a few things. I knew how much Gavin loved him and how much he spoke about his Uncle Jeff. I saw how much Jeff loved Gavin every time they were together the joy in each of their eyes made that bond very apparent. I saw how proud he was of his home, how diligently he kept it nice and how grateful he was for it. I know how much he loved and how fiercely he would protect his family and stand up for those he loved and cared about. I saw that same passion and love of his sports teams. This was especially evident by his hatred of a particular Indianapolis Colts Quarterback after the loss he handed the Bears in Super Bowl 41. I think this world would be a better place if more people felt and acted on some of the admirable qualities Jeff possessed. Jeff, your family and friends miss you very much and will always love you. My prayers and thoughts go out to all those that miss you.

God saw you getting tired,
When peace was not to be.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
and whispered, "Come to Me".
You didn't deserve what
you went through,
so He gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful,
He only takes the best.
And when I saw you sleeping,
so peaceful and free from pain,
I could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.

Soar with the angels Jeff,
and when you get there give my
Tricia a hug.
Gods peace be with all of us.
Love, Kathy and Chuck Sechel

My nephew, Jeff, was one very special guy. My fondest memories of him are when he was very young - birth - 8 years as I was around more then. One summer when I was home from college I helped Paul and Stella with the kids and I got a true taste of parenthood. Jeff and Gretch were the best kids to "sit" that summer. I enjoyed every minute of helping out and Jeff was so cool - he enjoyed eating vegetables. I, not being much of a vegetable eater, was extremely pleased by his desire to eat his peas and carrots, and then some. I learned to cook that summer and God Bless their souls, Jeff and Gretch were the guinee pigs.

You must know now Jeff how loved you were in life and will be forever. As with my brother, whom I know you are with, along with too many others, you will never be forgotten.

We were deeply shocked and saddened when we read this morning of Jeff's passing. We are extending to you, Gretchen, and your family, our sincerest sympathies. We know your pain and will keep you in our prayers.
Gretchen, try to find some comfort in knowing that Kevin welcomed Jeff to his new home. Our families now have two angels in heaven who will guide us through our grief and help us find peace through acceptance.

Fly, fly little wing
Fly beyond imagining
The softest cloud, the whitest dove
Upon the wind of heaven's love
Past the planets and the stars
Leave this lonely world of ours
Escape the sorrow and the pain
And fly again.
Fly, fly precious one
Your endless journey has begun
Take your gentle happiness
Far too beautiful for this world
Cross over to the other shore
There is peace forevermore
But hold this memory bittersweet
Untill we meet.
Fly, fly do not fear
Don't waste a breath, don't shed a tear
Your heart is pure, your soul is free
Be on your way, don't wait for me
Above the universe you'll climb
On beyond the hands of time
The moon will rise, the sun will set
But I won't forget.
Fly, fly little wing
Fly where only angels sing
Fly away, the time is right
Go now, find the light.

We'll miss you Jeff and will never forget You!!

I also chatted with him from time to time in the breakroom about work and just everyday things. I will miss him, my thoughts and prayers are with his family.
