Kimberly Giles Obituary

Kimberly "Kim" Ann Giles, 36, of Tinley Park passed away March 1, 2022 after fighting so hard for a heart transplant she was unable to receive. Wife of Gary Giles, daughter of Dave and Cindi Hall, sister of Michelle (Matt) Sedberry, granddaughter of LaVerne and the late Edward Komers and late Ivan and late Marie Hall, niece of Cheryl (Kevin) Murphy, late Mark (Karen Lester) Komers, Phyllis Ransome, Sandy (Randy) Ransome, Doug (Becky) Hall, daughter- in-law of Gary and Debbie Giles, sister-in-law of Jim (late Hedi) Demorest, aunt of Liam, Aspyn, Paige, and Tray and cousin of Heather, Jennifer, Kristen, Morgan, Jessica, Bryanna, Kurt, Jonathan, Kelly, Bailey, Keegan and Riley. Kim leaves behind her beloved family and baby dog Hossa. Born in Mt. Vernon, IL and raised in Glenwood, Kim was a 2004 H-F HS graduate. She went on to receive her BA and MA in Health Administration from GSU. Kim and Gary married Sept 21, 2013. Kim had worked as a Medical Coordinator for Advocate South Suburban Hospital. She was a member of First Pres. Church of CH where she served as a Deacon and was an honorary member of the Rebecca Circle.Visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, on Sun., March 6th from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Mon., March 7th at First Presbyterian Church of Chicago Heights from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. To sign guestbook or for info visit heartlandmemorial.com or call 708-444-2266.
