I grew up with Kathy, Karen and Betty in the old neighborhood on 64th St. Chances are none of the family remembers me, but my Dad was the doctor across the street.
When I saw your Dad's notice, many pleasant childhood memories came flooding back to me. Things like: Shirley always being pregnant and so thrilled to be adding another child to the family, Kathy and Karen always saying they were tired of babysitting, but nonetheless, always did it with a smile. I'll bet both of them grew up to be great moms. The family moved away after Sonny was born and we lost touch, as so many friends and acquaintenances do.
My prayers and thoughts are with all of you in this difficult time. Cherish each other...Mike will always be in your hearts.

My Deerest Cousin, Shirley - How lucky you are to have been married to such a wonderful man for 46 years. Where have the years gone? I can remember photographing your 25th Wedding Anniversary party, and now, the years have lead us to this sad day. Mike will be missed by so many; but, instead of being sad, let's try to celebrate the man and his life full of many blessings. I looked up the word "family" in the dictionary and "Beninato" was the definition of the word. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Much love, Iris
