I caddied for Mr. Roney many times at Beverly Country Club, and even today I remember his many kindnesses. Some of my best experiences on the course were with Mr. Roney, and he helped develop my skills as a caddie--and my confidence as a person.

I did not know Neil as a man, but as a friend and classmate at St Barnabas Grade School. He was always polite back then, and I am sure he grew up to be a good husband and father. A whole group of us walked to and from school together, past his house. We are in the process of getting a 50 year grade school reunion together for next September and am very sorry he will be missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Mr. Roney was a great man. Not only was he the nicest man, but he was a role model to all the Beverly Country Club Caddies.

Mr. Roney was a GREAT guy, I really LOVED caddying for and talking to him. I have known him for a long time, ever since doing plays with his daughter Jenny. I wish I was not in Arizona so I could have made the wake and funeral. My thoughts and prayers are with the Roney family ALWAYS!
