Avid Sailor, lover of dogs and advocate for justice. Beloved husband for 40 years of Barbara nee Buettner. Devoted father of Katherine (Robert) Hentschel, Elizabeth Wigell and Charles (Heather) Wigell. Son of the late Amanda Wigell nee Santiago. Brother of the late Phillip Wigell. Fond uncle, cherished friend and confidant of many. Resting at Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home, 530 W 14th St (US rt 30, 3 blks E of Western Ave), Chicago Heights on Monday April 26, 2021 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Tuesday 10:15 am from funeral home to Infant Jesus of Prague Church, Flossmoor. Mass 11:00 am. Interment private.
