(nee Van Iten); dear father of Ken Wehmhoefer of Homewood; loving brother of the late James (the late Tonetta) and the late George (the late Doris) Wehmhoefer; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Member of Gideon's International, His Men, Illinois School Administrators Association. President of Flossmoor Credit Union and Former President of the Board of St. John Faith UCC Church. Resting at the Tews Funeral Home, 18230 S. Dixie Hwy., Homewood, IL 60430 Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. Memorial Service Friday, 11:30 a.m. at the St. John Faith UCC Church, 21302 Maple St., Matteson, IL 60443. Interment Friday 3:00 p.m. at Homewood Memorial Gardens. Memorials to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214 or His Men, c/o Ed Kramer, 318 E. 165th St., South Holland, IL 60473 would be appreciated. 708-798-5300.

Roy was a great man of God. I have many great memories of Roy, Marilyn, & Ken. I'm so sorry to hear about this. You'll be in my prayers. Just remember he's with Jesus, the angels, and my mom. Love & prayers

I'm praying for you. I'm sorry that I'm not able to get off of school to come to the funeral. I have a lot of memories of Uncle Roy. Remember the Lord holds you tight in His arms!
