Eugene Eldridge, 69, of Otis, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 8, 2011, in Otis. He was born on May 5, 1941, in Farmington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Eldridge, in 1998; mother, Mae Largo in 1988; sons, Elvin Eldridge in 1997, and Eldon Eldridge in 2007.
He is survived by his wife Rebecca P. Eldridge; sons, Eugenius Eldridge, and Fernando Eldridge; daughters, Regina Eldridge, Redina (Cordell) Eldridge Thompson and Latanya Largo; brothers, Benny Eldridge, Richard Eldridge, Dennis Eldridge, Dino Largo and Rino Largo; sisters, Linda Eldridge and Virginia Eldridge; and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday, March 10, Desert View Funeral Home of Shiprock, North U.S. Hwy. 491.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 11, at Carson Faith Assembly of God Church in Carson. Reverend Pauline Platero will officiate.
Interment will follow at the family cemetery in Otis.
Arrangements are with Desert View Funeral Home of Shiprock, North U.S. Hwy. 491, (505) 368-4607.
