Joe Dennison Jr., 64, of Nageezi, died on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, in Phoenix, Ariz. He was born Feb. 27, 1948, in Crownpoint, to Joe Dennison Sr. and Polly Tsosie Harrison and adopted mother, Nancy Dennison.
Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Almira M. Dennison; his daughter, Paschalette Braun; his parents; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
He is survived by his sons, Cornell Dennison and Arnold Bryant; his daughters, Johanna Dennison and Beverly T. Toledo; his mother, Polly Tsosie Harrison; his brothers, Ervin Harrison, Ernest harrison, Melvin Harrison, Fred Harrison Jr., Johnny Harrison and Freddie Harrison; his sisters, Elizabeth Harrison, Josephine Castillo and Brenda Chavez; 17 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Nageezi Church of God with Eddie Rodriguez officiating.
Burial will be in a private plot in Nageezi.
A reception will follow burial in Nageezi.
Pallbearers are Cornell Dennison, Isaac Dennison, Tremell Dennison, Colton Bryant, Damian Tsosie and Rick Tahy.
Services are with COPE MEMORIAL CHAPEL Kirtland, 458 County Road 6100, 505-598-9636.
