The Lord uses grandpas to keep us on track, to give us a hug or a pat on the back, to help us remember, when push comes to shove, the blessings we have are because of God's love.
For the Lord is good...
His faithfulness continues to each generation.

Shinali hastiin,
T'aa'aiiyisii ahehee' doo ayoo'aniish'ni doo nahassaah.
You did not get to receive your card for Grandparents Day, but I'm sure you had a happy day in heaven. We had the opportunity to spend time with Lady Nalii that day, and we took it. We will surely miss seeing the two of you together.
Lotsa Love,
The Scotts (Redhouse)

My Cheii
Shicheíí,
I thank you for being that servant of the Lord we should always strive to be. In all my graduations and birthday parties, friends and family were given a chance to learn what Jesus is all about. I find comfort in your messages and hearing Navajo hymns with my mom playing the piano. I'm happy you and Shiyaazh were able to have a relationship and the stories of our time spent together will continue. Shiyaazh has become a fisherman like you. A fisher of men. What a victory in Jesus - you made impossible for so many people to hear the Word!! I know you are dancing in the presence of our Lord and Savior. We will be singing very loud, just as you lead. We have been blessed to have you, I love Shicheíí! See you again....

my man-neli, I remember he took the time to pray over me, baptised, introduced me his grandson to the Lord. Always had this special thing when he had coffee, if you been around him, you'd know what I mean. Always read the birth of Jesus every christmas at his home. Always show up at my birthdays, him and my Lady Neli with smiles and good stories. I'll miss him...
