I am so sad to learn recently that Dr. Illango passed away in 2019. I worked with RK at one of the insurance companies where he was medical director. He had a passion for sharing his knowledge and teaching us to make our own decisions. He was a wonderful person and loved by many.

Christmas Day 2019
He was gifted by grace, an invincible and irrepressible service to help and heal others. I worked alongside on the oncology team at St Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio in the Eighties. Along with the late Dr. Sydney Fernandes, two of the most compassionate physicians I've known. Oncology was both his joy and nemesis. i'm glad he returned to his roots. in Remberance and condolences. He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of working with him briefly at riverside hospital in toledo in the er where we both were moonlighting.
He also was my mother's oncologist with her treatment of lung cancer.
HE was a very compassionate and learned mentor as well as a talented and caring physician.it was gratifying to see that he went back to medicine. Condolences
