Steven Tsosie Lewis

Steven Tsosie Lewis, 35, of Bloomfield, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was born Oct. 7, 1977, in Shiprock, to Tsosie and Lena Lewis. He was born to Todich'ii'nii and born for Naashaashi.
Steven graduated from Bloomfield High School. He cared for his mother in their home. He enjoyed working on small machines, mountain biking, writing rap lyrics, spending time with nieces and nephews and going to the movies.
Steven was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Clark and Helen Greenstone and his paternal grandfather, John Lewis.
He is survived by his daughters, Asia and India Lewis; his parents; brother, Tsosie D. Lewis; sisters, Sonja L. Lewis and Dawn D. Lewis and his paternal grandmother, Iona Lewis.
A funeral service will be 10 a.m. on Friday, July 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 307 N. Church St. in Bloomfield, with deacon Pat Valdez officiating.
Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 6917 E. Main St. in Farmington.
A reception will be at the Lewis residence.
Pallbearers are Michael W. freeman, James D. Thurber, Carlos Lucero, Eddie Larvingo, Eugene Arviso and Harold Smith.
