Jamar Gregory Obituary
Chesapeake, Va. resident
Jamar Gregory, 17, of Chesapeake, Va., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2009. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Catrice Gregory; father Stacey Burrus Jr.; one brother, Ryan E. Gregory, all of Chesapeake, Va.; and host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Celebration of life will take place on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009 at noon at Centerville Chapel A.M.E. Church Chesapeake, Va. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rivers Community Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, is expressing sympathy to the Gregory family through sincere service.

I will always remember Jamar's positive attitude and his wonderful smile. He truly touched the lives of those of us fortunate enough to know him.

Jamar was a special person. I have so many wonderful memories of him during the time that I taught him at Hickory Middle School. He enriched my life by wonderful smile and his enthusiastic attitude. I will always remember him.
