Jeffery Gegan Obituary
Camden Co. resident
Jeffery Alan Gegan, 49 of Camden, died Monday, June 21, 2010, at his residence. He was born on Oct. 17, 1960 in Norfolk, Va., to the late Henry and Sallie Compton Gegan. Mr. Gegan was a computer technologist. He is survived by his wife, Doreen Yourth Gegan of the home; a daughter, Hannah Lynn Gegan of Camden; one sister, Stacy Gegan Smith of Virginia Beach, Va.; and two brothers, Michael Gegan and wife, Jenny, and Chris Gegan, both of Virginia Beach, Va. Also, he is survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, Brian Gegan preceded him in death. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, June 25, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Evangelical Methodist Church by Pastor Max Edwards. Following the church service the family will greet friends and relatives at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Twiford's Funeral Home, P. O. Drawer 405, Elizabeth City, NC 27907-0405 to help with funeral expenses. Twiford's Funeral Home, 405 E. Church St., Elizabeth City, is assisting the Gegan family. Dear Stacy, Mike, Chris, Doreen, and Hannah,
How sorry we were to hear the news of Jeff's passing. We have such fond memories from childhood of all the fun times together as children at Grandma's house in Va. Beach.
Our hearts ache for you as losing a loved one is never easy. May you be blessed with hope in Christ, peace in your hearts, and fond memories that bring a smile of joy to your faces.
