Jeffrey A. Ritter

SOUTH MILLS - Jeffrey Alan Ritter, 53, of South Mills, NC died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. He was born September 3, 1962 in Norfolk, VA to George Henry and Joyce Marie Miller Ritter. He was a plumber and pipefitter. He served his country honorable in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his lifelong companion, Sandee Custis; two brothers Eric Lee Ritter and wife, Andrea and Gary Edward Ritter; three nephews, Aaron Ritter, Joshua Ritter and Christopher Ritter; and a niece, Courtney Ritter all of Moyock, NC.

No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 3131 RDU Center Dr., Suite 100, Morrisville, NC 27560. Twiford Funeral Homes, Memorial chapel, 405 East Church Street, Elizabeth City, NC is serving the Ritter family.
