Lillie B. Rogerson

Lillie Mae Bunch Rogerson, 77, of the 1000 block of North Broad Street, Edenton, N.C., went to be with the Lord Friday, May 18, 2007. Ms. Rogerson was the daughter of Ms. Lena Bass Bunch and the late Thomas Edward Bunch and was the wife of the late Jesse Preston Rogerson. She was a member of Edenton Baptist Church. Surviving with her mother are her son, John T. Rogerson of Edenton; her stepson, Jimmy Arlan Rogerson and his wife, Lynn, of Charlotte, N.C.; her brother, Lewis E. Bunch and wife, Loraine, of Edenton; four sisters, Pattie Bunch Hollowell and husband, Maurice, of Suffolk, Va., Ruby Bunch Long and husband, Claude, of Greenville, N.C., Etta Bunch Riddick and husband, Jesse, of Corapeake, N.C., and Peggy Bunch Ward and husband, Joseph H., of Tyner, N.C. Ms. Rogerson was predeceased by her stepson, Ronald Webb Rogerson. A celebration of Ms. Rogerson's life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2007, at Edenton Baptist Church with Dr. Jesse Croom officiating. The family will have a private burial in Cedarwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2007, at the funeral home and at other times at her home.
