Lovey Bunch Obituary
Edenton resident
Lovey Dail Bunch, 98, of 141 Evans-Bass Road, died Monday, June 17, 2013 in Chowan River Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Bunch was born in Chowan County and was the daughter of the late John C. and Arelia Byrum Dail. A homemaker, she was a member of Rocky Hock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl William Bunch. Surviving are three daughters and their husbands, Sylvia and Ronald Saunders of Elizabeth City, Jeanette and R.S. Chappell of Hertford, and Gloria and Frank Johnson of Williamston; six grandchildren, Terri Moore, Kim Gibson, Kent Chappell, Amy Chappell, Randy Johnson, and Steve Johnson; and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. in Rocky Hock Baptist Church by Dr. James Horton. Burial will follow in the Bunch-Bass Family Cemetery near the church. Friends may join the family today from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and all other times at the home of Jeanette and R.S. Chappell, 256 Snug Harbor Road, Hertford. Online condolences may be made by visiting www.millerfhc.com.

To Aunt Lovey's Family,
We were sorry to hear about Aunt Lovey's passing. She was a sweet lady. We were sorry that we couldn't attend the funeral, but I, Mary Alice, have just had a knee replacement. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
