Nancy Hand Obituary
KNIGHTDALE - Nancy Upton Hand died December 8, 2016 after a short but courageous battle with cancer. Born May 12, 1958 in Elizabeth City to the late Fred Upton and Evelyn White Upton, Nancy loved growing up in Camden. A graduate of East Carolina University, she was working as a Senior Post Closer at RBC bank where she made many beloved friends.
Nancy is survived by her mother, Evelyn Upton of Raleigh; her son Ted "T. J." Hand of Raleigh; her daughter, Molly Hand and her fiance;, Justin Gore of Virginia Beach; her brother, Fred Upton and wife Carolyn of The Villages, Florida; her sister, Sue Upton Myers and husband Ken of Zebulon and her nieces and nephews: Meredith, Amber and Trent.
A service in celebration of Nancy's life will be held at 12:00 pm, Monday, December 12 at Knightdale United Methodist Church in Knightdale, NC.

My Nancy. I love you and miss you my dear friend, You are still with me, my dear friend. You are so alive in my heart and thoughts daily. I carry you with me and I know you are with me. I know you are watching over your loved ones and they feel you !! You would be so proud of all of them . I know you are with them and all of us. Nancy was a wonderful, thoughtful and caring person. Her laugh was contagious. She was so proud of her southern roots, always would say, born and raised in NC and a farmers daughter. She loved her family front and foremost they were her world. I love my friend, I miss my friend, I choose not to say good bye to Nancy , I choose to say see you again friend, all my love.

Nancy will be missed by so many, none more than her daughter Molly and son Ted, their children Milo and Darby. I had the pleasure of knowing Nancy for a little over 18 months. I liked her the minute I met her. So warm and friendly. I knew her to be a devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. I will remember you to your beloved Darby everyday. I know you will watch over your grandchildren and children. God bless you all
