Kill Devil Hills resident
Virgil Martin Jr., 81, of Bay Drive, Kill Devil Hills, died in Outer Banks Hospital, Nags Head, Monday, May 3, 2010. Funeral services will be held at Kitty Hawk United Methodist Church, Kitty Hawk, Monday at 2 p.m. Twiford's Funeral Home, Manteo is in charge of arrangements.

It was a pleasure knowing Virgil. Kaz and I enjoyed working with him to build their home on the Outer Banks. What a loving, devoted couple they were! Mrs. Martin, you have our condolences and prayers. He will be missed.
