GREENVILLE -- Antoinette Louise (Tony) Angle Musser passed away on December 14, 2025 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, Ohio at the age of 95.
Antoinette is preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Thelma (Speece) Angle, her husband, Carl E Musser. Sisters and brothers in-law Shirley (James) Farnsworth, Martha Mae (Richard) Mohr. Brother in-laws, Carey Musser, Donald Baier, sister and brother in- law Marilyn (Joseph) Parker. Also, several nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her sons, Dale (Barbara) Musser of Greenville, Ohio and Alan Musser of San Pedro, California. Sister, Marilyn (Charles) Guthrie. Granddaughter, Elizabeth (Gabriel) Tamplin and great grandchildren Owen and Leah. Step grandchild Aaron LeCount (Paige) and children, Asher and Avery. Sister in-laws Sandra Musser and Alice Baier. Numerous nieces and nephews.
She was born in Quincy, Ohio and graduated from Riverside High School DeGraff, Ohio. She attended Bowling Green State University and graduated from Ohio University in 1966 and went on to teach elementary education at DeGraff and 3rd grade for 26 years at Amanda Clearcreek, Amanda, Ohio.
She was a member of Mt Zion Methodist Church in Lancaster, Ohio. Eastern Star of Bellefontaine, Ohio and a long time member of Amanda Clearcreek OCCL, where her and her friends spent many hours making peanut brittle as a fund raiser and enhancing the lives of many local children.
After retirement she and Carl traveled the world and went to as many Ohio State bowl games as possible along with sewing as she was an accomplished seamstress and basket weaving.
She was a no nonsense disciplinarian as a teacher but was so very proud of each of her students. She still has many of the gifts and letters given to her over the years from her students and parents.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to the Brethren Retirement Community, Resident Aid Fund, Mt Zion Methodist Church in Lancaster, Ohio or Everhart Hospice in Greenville, Ohio.
A huge thank you to the BRC staff for their many years of care and to Everhart Hospice.
There will be a visitation at Taylor-Theller Funeral Home Amanda, Ohio on January 5th from 4 to 7pm and visitation and graveside services at Madden-Sanford Funeral Home Degraff, Ohio on January 7th. Starting at 10:00 am with services at 12:00 pm. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral home, Greenville, Ohio.
