Chester Sanders Obituary

GREENVILLE -- Chester M. Sanders, 71 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday October 8, 2025, at 3:30 AM at Hospice of Miami County, Troy, Ohio. Chester was born May 9, 1954, in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Leonard Jose Sanders, and Florence Evelyn (Newbauer) Baker.

Chester loved going to the coffee shops, woodworking, making birdhouses and trucks; and tinkering on vehicles, especially his truck

Chester is preceded in death by his ex-wife, Mary Ruth Sanders; his step father, Wilbur Baker; his sister, Sandy Henning; his nephew, Kaleb Gray; and his niece, Kathy Wolfe.

Chester is survived by his daughters, Tracy (Sanders) Riley, Angie (Sanders) McNutt, and Chasity & Travis (Sanders) Thacker; his grandchildren, Tiffany Roark, Siera Bolin, Trevin Sanders, Josie Medina, Kendra McNutt, Ozzy McNutt, Justin Flint, Chase Flint, and Kaylyn Casity; his 27 great grandchildren; his sister, Dixie Gray; his step brother Lenny and Robin Baker; and his nephews, Neal Gray, and Chris Henning.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
